Hello
I'm Samantha Green,
a Registered Counsellor with additional training and a special interest in Play Therapy.
I believe that childhood experiences can play an important role in shaping how we understand ourselves, relate to others, and navigate the world around us. Early support can therefore be valuable when children are experiencing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. Through play and creative approaches, I provide children with a safe and supportive space to express themselves, explore their feelings, make sense of their experiences, and work through challenges and life changes at their own pace. My aim is to help children build emotional awareness, resilience, confidence, and practical coping skills that can support them as they grow.
For teens and adults, counselling provides a confidential, supportive, and non-judgemental space to explore thoughts, feelings, experiences, and challenges. I work collaboratively with each individual to develop greater self-understanding, identify helpful ways of coping, and navigate change in a way that feels meaningful and manageable. My approach is warm, compassionate, and individualised. I believe that each person brings their own unique experiences, strengths, and needs to the counselling space, and I aim to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported.
